The role

  • Fixed Term – 32 hours / 4 day work week (up to April 2027)
  • $33.23 to $34.95 per hour (plus 17% superannuation)
  • Wagga Wagga

As an Early Childhood Educator (Certificate III), you will provide hands-on support in the general care, supervision and education of children aged 0–6 years. Working as part of a cooperative team, you will help create engaging learning experiences, prepare activities and materials, and attend to the physical, emotional, social and intellectual needs of children in your care.

You will also contribute to the smooth daily operation of the Children’s Centre by maintaining accurate records, supporting centre routines and cleanliness, and building positive relationships with families. You’ll have opportunities to participate in professional development, staff meetings and centre activities while contributing to a safe, respectful and inclusive environment.

About you

  • Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care or equivalent ACECQA qualification
  • Experience working with young children, ideally in Long Daycare or Preschool
  • A strong commitment to providing high-quality care and supporting children’s wellbeing
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and customer service skills
  • Ability to identify risks, problem-solve and contribute effectively as part of a team

As part of this recruitment, a pre-employment functional screening is required.

The appointment is also conditional upon the successful applicant producing, satisfying and maintaining a “Working with Children Check”, in accordance with the Commission for Children and Young People Act (NSW).
