The role

  • Part time, Continuing (32 hours / 4 day work week)
  • Level 4 - $66,932 to $72,657pa (plus 17% superannuation)
  • Albury-Wodonga

The Early Childhood Educator (Diploma) provides high-quality, developmentally appropriate care and education for children within the Charles Sturt Children’s Centres. Working collaboratively with colleagues, you will plan, implement and evaluate engaging indoor and outdoor learning environments that recognise each child’s individual needs, interests and abilities, while incorporating the Early Years Learning Framework.

You will build positive relationships with children and families, observe and document children’s development, contribute to the National Quality Framework and support the safe and effective daily operation of the Centre. You will also have opportunities to contribute to professional development, supervise students and help foster an innovative, inclusive and nurturing environment guided by exemplary practice and research.

About you

  • Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care or equivalent ACECQA-approved qualification
  • Experience developing and implementing high-quality educational programs
  • Experience working with young children in a Long Daycare or Preschool setting
  • Strong understanding of the National Regulations and National Quality Framework
  • A genuine commitment to child safety, teamwork and high-quality care for children and families

As part of this recruitment, a pre-employment functional screening is required.

The appointment is also conditional upon the successful applicant producing, satisfying and maintaining a “Working with Children Check”, in accordance with the Commission for Children and Young People Act (NSW).
