  • Level 9 - $132,740 to $140,258 pa (plus 17% superannuation)
  • Wagga Wagga

We are seeking an experienced finance professional to join the Division of Finance as Manager, Finance Liaison – Faculties. This is an opportunity to use your financial expertise beyond traditional reporting, partnering with Faculties and operational areas to provide strategic financial analysis, advice and management reporting that supports effective decision-making. You will work closely with senior stakeholders to interpret financial results, identify trends and risks, provide practical recommendations and ensure financial information is understood and used effectively.

About you

The Division of Finance invites applications from current Charles Sturt employees with relevant finance experience who are interested in bringing their expertise to the Manager, Finance Liaison – Faculties role. We are looking for a colleague who:

  • Brings strong work experience in university financial management, analysis and high-level reporting.
  • Has the ability to interpret complex financial information and provide clear, practical advice to stakeholders.
  • Builds strong working relationships and collaborates effectively across a complex organisation.
  • Has experience leading and supporting a capable, customer-focused finance team and building the financial capability of others.
  • Is organised, proactive and adaptable, with the ability to manage competing priorities and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
  • Working knowledge of university funding models and building forecasts for university teaching costs.
