The role

  • Fixed term (up to 3 years), part time
  • 20% fraction until 31 December 2026
  • 30% fraction effective 1 Jan 2027
  • Open for Academic staff at levels B-D to apply (Appointment will be made at current level)
  • Appointment to be made to current campus location.

As the Simulation Lead, you will drive the School’s simulation strategy, delivering immersive, evidence-based learning experiences that prepare students for real-world clinical practice. This role goes beyond managing activities - it’s about driving innovation, embedding simulation into curricula, fostering collaboration across academic teams and industry partners, and ensuring excellence in facilities and resources. You’ll lead cutting-edge initiatives, strengthen stakeholder relationships, and contribute to research and scholarship, making a lasting impact on the next generation of health professionals.

About you 

  • Qualifications and experience or an equivalent level of knowledge as per the Standards, Expectations and Qualifications Policy - Academic Staff, and specifically related to simulation in health education
  • Hold a current AHPRA registration in your relevant discipline.
  • Experience leading academic teams in simulation-based learning design.
  • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills to foster collaboration.
