The role

  • Full Time, Continuing
  • Level B - $113,841 to A$134,965 pa (plus 17% superannuation)
  • Level C - $139,182 to $160,308 pa (plus 17% superannuation)
  • Wagga Wagga

This is an exciting opportunity for an emerging or established academic to contribute to innovative teaching, curriculum development and a growing research culture within a supportive and collaborative environment.

The position will undertake subject delivery through both face to face and online delivery methods and will be expected to contribute to the administration and ongoing curriculum development of courses offered by the School.

About you 

  • A doctoral or master's qualification in Biochemistry or a related discipline, with experience delivering high-quality teaching and contributing to curriculum development in higher education.
  • A demonstrated research track record, including peer-reviewed publications and the ability to contribute to impactful research outcomes.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to engage effectively with students, colleagues and external stakeholders.
  • A collaborative and inclusive approach, with the ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary teams and foster culturally safe and respectful environments.
  • Experience in diagnostic pathology and/or a qualification in Medical Laboratory Science will be highly regarded; AIMS membership is desirable
  • For Senior Lecturer (Level C) applicants: Demonstrated academic leadership and research excellence, including a strong publication record, success in securing research funding, HDR student supervision, curriculum leadership, and the ability to build strategic partnerships that enhance the discipline's reputation and impact.
