The role

  • Level A - $80,046 to $108,204 pa (plus 17% superannuation)
  • Level B - $113,841 to $134,965 pa (plus 17% superannuation)
  • Albury-Wodonga

As a Practice Educator (Speech Pathology), you will combine clinical expertise with student supervision, mentoring and assessment to support the development of future speech pathologists. Working within Charles Sturt University's Community Engagement and Wellness Centre, you will deliver high-quality speech pathology services, provide practice education for students undertaking work-integrated learning placements, and contribute to innovative clinical learning experiences that benefit both students and the communities we serve.

Preference will be given to candidates in a specialised field (e.g. fluency, voice, language, speech, etc.), with a specific population (i.e. adult, paediatric), or across the lifespan for a variety of fields of practice.

Part time or fractional appointments may be negotiated or considered. Relocation assistance is available to assist with relocating to take up this job opportunity located in Albury-Wodonga.

  • Skills, qualifications, and experience appropriate to the Level being applied for or equivalence
  • Eligibility for current full registration as a speech pathologist with Speech Pathology Australia.
  • Evidence of the delivery of high-quality student-centred clinical education
  • Knowledge of and relevant contemporary professional practice in speech pathology
  • Willingness to contribute to and support workplace learning
