Associate Lecturer / Lecturer in Podiatry (Practice Educator)

The role

• Continuing. Full Time and Part Time (40% fraction) opportunity available 
• Level A - $80,046 to $108,204 pa (plus 17% superannuation)
• Level B - $113,841 to $134,965 pa (plus 17% superannuation)
• Albury-Wodonga

As a Practice Educator (Podiatry), you will combine clinical practice with student supervision, mentoring and assessment to support the development of future podiatrists. Working within Charles Sturt University's Community Engagement and Wellness Centre, you will deliver high-quality podiatry services, provide practice education for students, and contribute to innovative clinical learning experiences that benefit both students and regional communities. 

Specifically, this position will require substantial experience in podiatric practice with a sound knowledge of podiatric medicine. Candidates must be able to demonstrate a capacity and willingness to support workplace learning for podiatry students and a commitment to supporting rural, regional, and remote healthcare practice.

Part time or fractional appointments may be negotiated or considered. Relocation assistance is available to assist with relocating to take up this job opportunity located in Albury-Wodonga.

About you 

• Skills, qualifications, and experience appropriate to the level being applied for or equivalent.
• Current practising registration as a podiatrist with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (Ahpra)
• Evidence of the delivery of high-quality student-centred clinical education.
• Knowledge of and relevant contemporary professional practice in podiatry
• Willingness to contribute to and support workplace learning
