The role

  • 3 positions available - Full Time, Continuing
  • Level 6 - $92,025 to $99,538 pa (plus 17% superannuation)
  • Albury-Wodonga, Bathurst, Dubbo, Orange, Port Macquarie or Wagga Wagga

As the Adviser, Connected Pathways Program, you will be responsible for collaboratively developing, implementing and evaluating a range of advisory and advocacy services focused on students transitioning to and from vocational education and training study.

Using an inclusive and holistic approach, you will support student transition to university through providing access to individualised and/or group support, providing advice, connecting students to appropriate services and contributing to an overall positive student experience.

This position requires extensive travel and after hours/weekend work at times.

About you  

  • Demonstrated excellence in using inclusive approaches, with an understanding of the needs of students studying both vocational and higher education .
  • High level communication and interpersonal skills, including an ability to engage and build relationships with a wide range of stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to demonstrate initiative, prioritise tasks, meet deadlines and produce high quality outcomes.
  • Strong IT skills to support client centred service delivery and work as part of a physically distributed team.

Appointment is conditional upon the successful applicant producing, satisfying and maintaining a “Working with Children Check”, in accordance with the Commission for Children and Young People Act (NSW).
