The role

  • Full Time, Continuing
  • Level 9 - $132,740 to $140,258 pa (plus 17% superannuation)
  • Appointment to be made to current campus location

You will lead the implementation and management of the university’s Data Governance Framework, ensuring data is managed responsibly within policy and risk boundaries. Additionally, you will drive strategic data initiatives, guide cross-organisational collaboration, and enhance data intelligence to inform leadership decisions.

About you 

  • Experience in developing and implementing data / governance related frameworks, tools and/or processes in a complex environment
  • Strong communicator with high level stakeholder engagement and facilitation skills
  • Analytical mindset with demonstrated expertise in interpreting complex data
  • Ability to drive data stewardship by fostering collaboration across faculties and teams, and establishing clear roles for data stewards and domain owners
  • Ability to promote and embed data governance practices through training, communication and change leadership across diverse university settings
