Are you ready to make a meaningful impact on students' lives? The newly created role of Senior Accessibility and Inclusion Advisor offers a unique opportunity for internal staff to step into a fixed-term or secondment position. Under the guidance of the Associate Director of Accessibility and Inclusion, you'll play a pivotal role in enhancing the academic success and retention of students with disabilities by recommending and coordinating reasonable adjustments. This role not only involves managing a caseload of students but also leading and supporting a team of Accessibility and Inclusion Advisors. You'll be at the forefront of resolving grievances, managing complex cases, and driving continuous improvement in service delivery. If you're passionate about inclusivity and ready to take on a leadership role, this position is for you.

About you

This role will ideally suit an individual with qualifications in disability support, education or a closely related field, extensive experience in student services, and strong leadership skills. Your skills in stakeholder engagement, complaints management, and complex case coordination will be crucial in driving positive outcomes for students with disabilities. A proactive and empathetic mindset, coupled with a commitment to continuous improvement and innovation, will ensure you excel in this role and contribute significantly to the university's mission of inclusivity and academic success.
