The role

  • Part Time – 21 hours per week, Fixed Term (until May 2026)
  • Level 7 - $59,080 to $64,554 p.a. (plus 17% superannuation)

Join our team as a Contracts Officer, overseeing the tender and contracts process for projects on the Strategic Infrastructure Capital Plan. You'll ensure accurate procurement documentation, maintain due process in tendering and contractor appointments, and track contract data. Working closely with the Manager, Capital Works, you'll manage contract documentation, procurement processes, and records, ensuring strong contract administration.

You'll embody the University's values, create scopes of work for tender packages, facilitate tender evaluations, and draft, implement, and conclude contracts. Your role includes managing subcontractor and consultant registers, conducting benchmarking, and analysing data to highlight risks and opportunities. About you

The ideal candidate will have a relevant qualification in procurement, construction or contract management, or a related field, and substantial experience in managing end-to-end tender processes and contract administration. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical and organisational skills, proficiency in data tracking and reporting, and the ability to maintain compliance with governance standards. Additionally, we value a proactive attitude, a collaborative mindset, and a commitment to continuous improvement and innovation.
