The role

  • Part time – 30 hours per week, Continuing
  • Level B - $88,420 to $104,827 pa (plus 17% superannuation)
  • Albury-Wodonga or Wagga Wagga

As Lecturer in Enabling Education, you will be engaging in teaching and curriculum development within the non-award and sub-degree subjects and courses offered by the Enabling and Transition team. In this teaching focused role, you will be required to teach both face to face and online to foundational students in the areas of literacy and English language.

To be successful in this role, you will have a deep understanding of enabling and transition pedagogies and be highly capable with digital learning technologies and blended modes of teaching delivery within the higher education setting. You will also be committed to collaborating effectively with key stakeholders to broaden the higher education participation of identified equity cohorts.

About you  

  • A relevant doctoral qualification or equivalent accreditation and standing.
  • Demonstrated expertise in teaching and curriculum development in the areas of literacy and English language.
  • Evidence of delivering high quality learning and teaching, relevant to the university preparation sector.
  • Demonstrated capacity to work collaboratively and independently in an academic setting.
