The role

  • Full Time (job share arrangement may be considered), Fixed Term (up to December 2025)
  • Level B - $110,525 to $131,034 pa FTE (plus 17% superannuation)
  • Appointment to be made on current campus location

As Lecturer (Academic Development) you will be responsible for supporting the professional development of our academic staff involved in and/or supporting learning and teaching. This includes leading and contributing to the Peer Review program, teaching in the Graduate Certificate of Learning and Teaching in Higher Education (GCLTHE), and contributing to the Teaching Academy professional development initiatives including the Foundations of Teaching and Learning at Charles Sturt.

This is a great academic leadership opportunity to broaden your practice and impact and step into an academic development role within the Charles Sturt University Teaching Academy.

About you  

  • A doctoral qualification relevant to the discipline or equivalent accreditation and standing.
  • Significant experience in university teaching and/or subject, course and assessment design in both an online and blended context.
  • Demonstrated experience in effective design, implementation and delivery of professional development for university teachers, including providing feedback.
  • Demonstrated leadership and ability to leverage networks to develop and apply best practice to learning and teaching programs.
  • Demonstrated leadership and experience in reviewing and evaluating programs and leveraging new ways of working to deliver continuous improvement.
