The role

  • Continuing, Part time (17.5 hours per week)
  • Level 6 - $44,672 to $48,319 pa (plus 17% superannuation)
  • Bathurst, Port Macquarie or Wagga Wagga

Charles Sturt University is currently seeking an engaging and passionate professional to drive sustainability partnerships with both internal and external stakeholders. You will coordinate initiatives and develop communication strategies, including website and social media content to increase awareness and contributions from both students and staff.

You will drive our mission to embed a sustainable framework by mentoring student leaders and coordinating competitive grant programs to empower positive change. You will be vital to ensuring sustainability principles are integrated throughout the University, through taking a lead role in igniting student passion and engagement, fostering strong stakeholder relationships and innovating processes.

About you 

  • Relevant degree in environmental management, or communications or other relevant or equivalent experience.
  • Highly developed interpersonal, communication and writing skills.
  • Strong people skills with proven experience building and fostering stakeholder relationships.
  • Ability to drive awareness by implementing comprehensive communication strategies.
  • Strong know-how of sustainability issues, with a passion for inspiring others to drive change.
