The role

  • 2 x Fixed term positions (up to 3 years), part time (up to 50% fraction)
  • Open for Academic staff at Level B and C to apply (Appointment will be made at current level)
  • Appointment to be made to current campus location.

Play a lead role in overseeing and supporting the work integrated learning (WIL) activities for the nursing discipline.

This position works collaboratively with the faculty workplace learning team to focus on maintaining and enhancing work placement opportunities in line with student graduation requirements.

Individuals who can demonstrate high level communication, networking and negotiation skills in conjunction with relevant discipline knowledge and workplace learning experience are encouraged to apply.

About you 

  • Currently holding an academic Level B or C role in School of Nursing, Paramedicine and Healthcare Sciences with registration with the Nursing Ahpra board.
  • Ability to lead the WPL process, including managing multiple process and stakeholder relationships
  • Ability to work with multiple stakeholders internal and external to the university.

This position is available for eligible employees, as a secondment.

To be eligible for a secondment, a staff member must have completed probation and at least one year of continuous service in their current continuing position. Applicants should make themselves familiar with the Secondment Appointments Policy.

This position is open to Australian Citizens and Permanent Residents; or applicants who hold a current valid work visa commensurate with this position.
