The role

  • Full Time, Continuing
  • Level B - $113,841 to $134,965 pa (plus 17% superannuation)
  • Canberra

This role involves teaching and subject development across undergraduate and postgraduate criminology programs, with a focus on areas such as financial crime, terrorism, intelligence, investigations, and policing.

You will also engage in research activities and build strong relationships with industry and government partners, both domestically and internationally, to enhance the relevance and reach of our programs.

About you 

  • A doctoral qualification with research expertise in governance, policy, and/or justice systems, directly related to Criminology.
  • Experience designing and delivering student-centred curricula in criminologically related areas across undergraduate and postgraduate programs, including blended learning modalities.
  • Contemporary criminology-related expertise demonstrated through teaching, research, and publications, which demonstrates a capacity to make an autonomous contribution.
  • Strong scholarly record with recent successful grant applications, peer-reviewed publications and conference presentations on criminology or criminology-adjacent topics.
