The Role

  • Fixed Term (until October 2021), Part Time – 17.5 hours per week
  • Level 4 - $31,401 to $34,109 pa (plus 17% superannuation)
  • 1 x Albury-Wodonga and 1 x Orange

 

Play a key role in supporting a range of frontline, quality, customer focussed services.  This includes using phone and online chat to provide information services, circulation and document delivery.

This position would ideally suit an individual who adapts well to changing priorities and work environments, and who is looking for an entry level role in an academic library.

To be successful you will have:

  • An associate diploma in Library and Information Services or equivalent
  • Proven experience and commitment to delivering excellent customer service
  • Excellent communication skills and commitment to working in a team environment
  • Sound computer and technical skills

The Provost and Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Academic) is responsible for the operation of the Faculties and the learning support services at the University including the Division of Learning and Teaching and the Division of Library Services. This includes responsibility for the University’s course profile and, with Academic Senate, course and learning and teaching quality. The Provost and Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Academic) is also a member of the Vice-Chancellors Leadership Team.  

The Office of the Provost and Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Academic) provides high level executive and administrative support to the Provost and Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Academic) and the portfolio.

We provide high quality information services and resources to support students, staff, and all members of the University campuses and its communities.
